Prices and selection vary between this website and our retail stores. Prices listed on-line are not applicable to himalayafineart.com retail store Himalaya Stationery Mart and are valid for mail order and internet only.
Despite all efforts to maintain our prices, descriptions, specifications, illustrations and availability error free, inadvertent typographical errors may still occur and Himalayafineart.com shall not be held liable for such errors. Himalayafineart.com reserves the right to rectify this information at any time. Therefore all prices at himalayafineart.com are subject to change without prior notice.
Manufacturers may alter product specification; and we accept no responsibility for errors and omissions.
Color charts are shown within the limitations of the printing process and actual colors may vary.

Prices stated on Himalaya Fine Art are inclusive of VAT.
However the Invoice will show prices for individual products excluding VAT + VAT amount payable = Sub total; and a total invoice amount.
Books are exempt from VAT.
Prices may change if the VAT rate changes.
All local levies such as Customs, Octroi etc will be borne by the customer.

DELIVERY
   

We aim to deliver all orders within 10 business days of receipt to Indian destinations, but cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery beyond our control.

All goods must be signed for on receipt of the consignment.

If within 14 working days, goods have not been delivered, please contact us immediately.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
   
Himalayafineart.com does not currently utilize a real time stock check feature. Although we prefer not being out of stock on any items that you may need, it does happen occasionally as our manufacturers do sometimes experience shortages. In the event that an item in your order is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you via e-mail or phone to notify you so you can choose another item if you wish. And if you cannot be reached, we will ship your order as is, minus the out of stock items. Therefore it's always a good idea to check your email for a notification of changes in the Order Status Details.
 
  • Customers making on-line payments will not be charged for any item until the item is in stock and ready to ship.
  • For Customers making off-line payments we will refund for any goods which we cannot immediately deliver and advise you of the expected in stock date by letter, so that you may re-order.

SUBSTITUTION
   
It is our policy not to make a substitution if an item is out of stock or discontinued - unless we are authorized to do so by the customer. If you wish, you may submit your instructions for substitution under special delivery instructions during check-out

RETURNS
 

Himalayafineart.com is the E-com arm of Himalaya Stationery Mart, Mumbai, which is well known for its trade ethics throughout India for more than half a century.

If goods are found not to be as described or damaged you are entitled to a replacement or refund. To return unused, unwanted and undamaged products, you must notify us by clicking on the "Request New RMA" (Return Merchandise Authorization)  link which is available on the "Order Status Details" page within 72 hours of receipt of the goods.

 
Note:
 
1. For goods that have been damaged in transit:
 
If there is a Noticeable damage or Shortage, make a note of it on the delivery receipt AND have the delivery person sign the receipt and verify that there is damage.
Save the damaged package or carton for inspection.
Items that arrive damaged or defective will be replaced.
2. Concealed damage
 
Damage to materials inside a package with no external damage evident should be notified to us at once. We must notify carriers within 5 days, or they may deny liability. Returns are only accepted within 15 days of delivery.
3. If the product delivered to you has been sent in error by Himalayafineart.com, the product should be returned unused and in saleable condition. No charges would be levied on the customer.
4. If product was ordered by the customer in error: -

The customer is responsible for shipping charges on the return.

A 15% re-stocking fee will be charged if applicable.

5. Please request for a Return Merchandise Authorization before returning any products. Products returned without a Return Merchandise Authorization will not be accepted.

This information must be shown on the outside of the packaging used for returning the goods.
Products should be in new condition, and in their original boxes.
7. No refunds or exchanges available on Papers and Paper-Boards, special and custom orders, cut goods (E.g. Canvas sold by meter), books and certain other items marked as non-returnable.
8. Always ship your returns via an insured carrier. Himalayafineart.com does not accept liability for returns that arrived to us damaged.

PAYMENTS
   

We accept payment by Cheque, Demand Draft, Money Order, Direct Bank Transfer (EFT), Credit Card, Debit Card. Under no circumstance will be accept cash payment. 

All credit and debit cards listed on the Home Page of the web site are accepted.

Please Note: We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.

Cheques or Drafts should be drawn in the name of: Himalaya Fine Art and should be payable on par in Mumbai. Payments by Cheque are subject to realization and could delay shipment of merchandise at least 2 weeks.
